Your product manual will have all replacement parts listed for your sprayer. Some manuals include multiple sprayer models, so your particular sprayer may not include all the parts pictured in the manual. If you have additional questions on parts, please call Technical Support at 1-800-444-3140, option 1.
Only our battery-operated products include an SDS. This is specifically for the battery included with the unit. Chemicals are not included with any sprayer, sprayer, or watering product. Always review the SDS that comes with whatever chemical or solution you’re spraying or spreading and consult with technical team if you have any questions. 1-800-444-3140, option 1.
You can purchase Chapin products directly from any of the retailers located on our website, www.chapinmfg.com. Always check with your local retailer for availability. If you’re outside of the United States and are unsure, please call our order team at 1-800-444-3140.
Chapin sprayers and spreaders are manufactured in the United States. A percentage of our internal components do come from outside the United States.
The majority of our watering products are not made in the United States. Our watering can is made 100% in the United States with recycled materials.
NOTE: For all spreaders, improper use or failure to follow instructions can result in product failure or injuries. For safe use of this product you must read and follow all instructions before using.
- Empty hopper of any remaining material
- Thoroughly wash spreader, some ice melt products and lawn chemicals will cause rust if left in a wet stainless steel hopper (examples: magnesium chloride and calcium chloride)
- DO NOT spray directly into the gearbox, this can cause rust
- Use a standard garden hose, DO NOT use a power washer
- Allow to fully dry before storing
- Check tires for proper inflation after storing spreader for long periods (Inflate to 20 PSI)
If you have a pull up handle, fold it down for storage
If you have a grease fitting, apply general-purpose grease at least once a month

No, we don’t warranty products that are purchased from eBay, Amazon Warehouse, Facebook and Facebook Marketplace, Instagram, TikTok, Craigslist, Alibaba, Temu, Shein, garage sales, friends, auctions, and auction websites, and any other private and third-party selling seller or sites. When you purchase items from these sites or locations, we can’t guarantee the product is new, or was even delivered to the retailer, from us. If you purchase from any of these places and wish to refurbish a Chapin product, our technical team can certainly assist and give you a quote on parts. If you don’t see your product listed on our website or at a certified retailer, our order team can assist you.
“Limited” means Chapin’s warranties do not cover any damage or defect due to or resulting from transportation, storage, improper use, failure to follow product instructions, failure to perform recommended preventative maintenance, modifications, unauthorized repair, normal wear and tear, or external causes such as accidents, abuse, misuse, alteration or other actions or events beyond our reasonable control. We also do not cover standard parts that are under normal wear, like pumps, batteries, wands, nozzles, shut-off valves, etc.
Chapin has 4 levels of warranties on our products: 1 year, 2 years, 5 years, and limited lifetime warranties. Parts and certain accessories do not have warranties. Check our Warranty page for an explanation of each warranty level. Your warranty will be listed on your packaging and/or product manual. Please register your product after purchase to access your warranty.
