The Chapin 4701 HydroFeed in-line fertilizing injection system is designed for fertilizing gardens and lawns, by automatically mixing your chemical with water.
24 ounce clear plastic tank with funnel tank opening
Ideal for liquid fertilizer
Adjustable connection elbow lets tank mount to any hose spigot
The Chapin 4701 HydroFeed in-line fertilizing injection system is designed for fertilizing gardens and lawns, by automatically mixing your chemical with water. It’s different than a standard hose-end sprayer. The connection allows you to hooks into your outdoor faucet, and then attach it to a standard garden hose, with or without a sprinkler, so you can use it for feeding while watering. HydroFeed adds water back into the clear, 24 ounce chemical tank as your chemical is being pulled out. Because your chemical has a higher density than water, the chemical stays at the bottom of the tank. It won’t mix with the water that’s pulled back into the tank as the chemical is emptied out. This is why the tank turns clear after your chemical runs out. The inlet tube is long enough to sit at the bottom of the tank so it’s only pulling the chemical and not diluting it with water.
It’s ideal for liquid fertilizer and has a filter basket to catch any debris while filling the tank. The drain plug and valve allow you to easily empty the tank after each use. Do not use with drip irrigation systems. Covered by a 1-year limited warranty.
