Chapin Refund & Return Policy
Whether you’ve purchased your Chapin product from our online store or another online or in-store retailer, we understand a return or a refund may be needed due to a product defect, missing or damaged parts, or an incorrect shipment by Chapin or the retailer. Please read and follow the directions below if you have a return, refund, exchange, or warranty request.

Purchasing Products Direct from ChapinUSA.com
Do not return the product without first receiving written authorization from us.
To make a return or request a refund:
- Merchandise must be returned within 30 days of purchase in unused, like-new condition
- Contact us to obtain a Return Authorization Number (this number must be included on the receipt and packing slip when shipped back to us)
- Your receipt (printed at time of order) must accompany all returns
- If possible, we may also request the original packing slip for a return
- Indicate reason for return on packing slip or receipt
- A refund will be issued only to the original credit card or method of payment after the item is received back by Chapin (this refund does not include the original shipping at time of transaction).
- You will receive an email with a pre-paid packing label
- Use the original packaging or a strong corrugated carton
To exchange a product:
Exchanges originating from, and shipping to, US addresses are usually delivered within two weeks from the time you put the exchange in the mail. This is for exchanges made with Chapin only.
NO EXCEPTIONS: Items purchased from www.chapinmfg.com, cannot be returned to a store. Merchandise must be returned in unused, like-new condition, with a pre-authorized Return Authorization Number from our Order Team, Tech Support or Ship Center or a credit will not be issued.
Damaged Items and Shortage Claims
Please report damaged or missing items, such as parts to complete a product, like a wand or spray nozzle, within three (3) days of delivery
Warranty Related Returns & Exchanges from ChapinUSA.com and Other Retailers
To obtain warranty service you must, during or not later than thirty (30) days after the expiration of the warranty period, contact us in each case with a description of the product and defect. You must also provide us with a sales receipt or comparable proof of purchase showing the original date of purchase by you.
Chapin’s limited warranties apply only to the original product purchaser only and that the purchased product will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for the states warranty period. This warranty does not extend to any subsequent owner or transferee of the product, or any lessees of the product.
Chapin’s limited warranties do not cover any damage or defect due to or resulting from transportation, storage, improper use, failure to follow product instructions, failure to perform recommended preventative maintenance, modifications, unauthorized repair, normal wear and tear, or external causes such as accidents, abuse, misuse, alteration or other actions or events beyond our reasonable control. Chapin’s warranties do not cover standard parts that are under normal wear, such as but not limited to sprayer pumps, batteries, wands, nozzles, shut-off valves, etc. Chapin reserves the right to not warranty any products purchased from eBay, Amazon Warehouse, Facebook and Facebook Marketplace, Instagram, TikTok, Craigslist, Alibaba, Temu, garage sales, auctions and auction websites, and any other private and third-party selling seller or sites.

NOTE: If no proof of purchase or sales receipt is available, Chapin reserves the right to approve or deny a return or warranty claim. Chapin cannot assist with shipping errors, returns, exchanges, or refunds, if you’ve purchased from Amazon or through another online supplier or retailer. You will need to work directly with that supplier or retailer on your issue.
